Whitman Walker Addiction Services (WWAS) provides addiction treatment to people who are GLBT and people living with HIV/AIDS. The program is staffed by addiction treatment professionals and specially trained volunteers who are geared toward helping gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender participants take pride in their sexual identity and their recovery from addiction.

WWAS offers a Crisis Intervention Line for emergency, 24 hour consultation by phone to individuals experiencing a mental health emergency and to their partners, family and friends.
